Mineralisation:
OREAS 501c was prepared from a blend of porphyry copper-gold ore, barren granodiorite and a minor quantity of Cu-Mo concentrate. The ore was sourced from the Ridgeway underground mine located in the Cadia Valley Operations (CVO) situated in central western New South Wales, Australia. The barren I-type hornblende-bearing granodiorite was sourced from the Late Devonian Lysterfield granodiorite complex located in eastern Melbourne, Australia.
Thirty commercial analytical laboratories participated in the program to characterise the elements reported in Tables 1 to 4. The following methods were employed:
