OREAS 505c

OREAS 505c is a porphyry Cu–Mo–Au certified reference material produced from a blend of granodiorite/granite host rocks with porphyry Cu–Au ore, complemented by minor Mo-bearing and Au-bearing sulphide components to establish porphyry-style element ratios. The matrix reproduces felsic intrusive rocks with disseminated chalcopyrite ± molybdenite ± pyrite, providing a stable, homogeneous standard for calibration and quality control of 4-acid/near-total digestion ICP-OES/MS and fire assay determinations.

OREAS 505c has been characterized using the following methods:

  • Gold via 25-50g fire assay with gravimetric finish
  • Silver via 25-50g fire assay with Gravimetric finish
  • Silver via 4-Acid digestion with AAS finish

Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each method, with results under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of accreditation.

Note: Analyte values are indicative only and may change when certified.
