OREAS 630

OREAS 630 is a matrix-matched certified reference material (MMCRM) prepared from Zn-Pb-Cu mine tailing samples supplied by the Rosebery mine metallurgical plant owned and operated by MMG Ltd. The Rosebery mine is located in the north-west region of Tasmania, Australia approximately 125 kilometres south of Burnie. Key minerals of economic importance include sphalerite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite and electrum.
