OREAS 733

OREAS 733 is a certified reference material produced from high-grade bauxite ore. The ore is typical of lateritic bauxite deposits and has been characterised using the following methods:

  • Bauxite suite by fusion with XRF, including Loss on Ignition (LOI) at 1000 °C
  • Borate/peroxide fusion with ICP-OES & ICP-MS finishes
  • Available Alumina and Reactive Silica by 145 °C BOMB digestion with appropriate instrumental or classical finishes
  • Total Organic Carbon by infrared combustion furnace

Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each method, with results included under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of accreditation.

Note: Analyte values are indicative only and may change when certified.
