OREAS 999b is a spodumene concentrate product derived from the processing of lithium pegmatite ores sourced from the Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia. The Spodumene concentrate is primarily composed of spodumene (LiAlSi₂O₆), a lithium-bearing pyroxene. Minor gangue minerals include quartz, albite, muscovite, and mica group minerals.
Twenty-five commercial analytical laboratories participated in the program to certify the elements reported below:
Homogeneity was assessed using peroxide fusion with ICP-OES finish on 12 pulp samples (20 g each) from twelve sampling units. An ANOVA test was performed to compare within- and between-unit variances, providing a statistical measure of uniformity and confirming that all units belong to the same population.
